Awareness of Literacy
Karpuri Thakur Gramin Vikash Sansthan focuses on promoting education among poor, needy, underprivileged, and orphaned children. Education is essential for every individual and society as a whole as it can improve literacy rates, and provide opportunities for economic growth. Education can also increase an individual’s awareness of their rights and responsibilities and improve their ability to make decisions. So, We aim to raise awareness among those unprivileged children about the importance of education and provide enough access to all the needed facilities including free accommodation, education, and food for them. Through its efforts, we are trying to ensure that all children have access to education and the opportunity to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
Taking Care of Missing Child
Karpuri Thakur Gramin Vikash Sansthan is exclusively concerned for the missing children who have been separated from their families due to various reasons, including abduction, trafficking. They are vulnerable to abuse, exploitation, and other dangers. Addressing this issue, we are working to provide care and support to missing children but also work to prevent child trafficking and other forms of exploitation. We also offer safe shelter, food, education, and clothing to ensure that these children are protected from harm and have access to the basic necessities of life. Addition to these works, we also tirelessly make an effort to reunite these missing children with their families and provide them with the care and support they need until such reunification can be achieved.
Serving Through Adoption Centre
Karpuri Thakur Gramin Vikash Sansthan also works for rehabilitation of missing and orphaned children by promoting adoption. Besides our work to provide these unprivileged and unfortunate children with a safe and nurturing environment, we are also running an adoption center that aims to help children find a loving family while fulfilling the dream of childless families to adopt a child. With our expert assistance and guidance, Karpuri Thakur Gramin Vikash Sansthan makes the adoption process easier and hassle-free and connects them with families who are willing to provide a loving home. Through our adoption center, we also ensure that children receive the care and support they need, while also helping childless families to fulfill their desire to have a child.
Action Against Child Trafficking
Since its commencement Karpuri Thakur Gramin Vikash Sansthan has been taking strong action against child trafficking and child laboring. We are working to raise awareness against these shameful acts of exploiting vulnerable children and create a safer world for children. Our dedicated team always remains active to prevent, identify, and rescue victims of child trafficking, providing them with care and support. We also support these children with free education, accommodation, food and other necessities and help them to grow and develop without the fear of exploitation and abuse.
Awareness Against Child Marriage
We at Karpuri Thakur Gramin Vikash Sansthan are committed to preventing child marriage and raising awareness about this global issue. In India, especially Bihar, underaged girls are often seen to be forced by their families to get married to a person of her double age since their parents are unwilling to bear the expense of her education and overall necessities. Addressing these issue, we are raising awareness against child marriage by educating the people including the girls and their parents about the consequences of this practice in future. We also take immediate action to rescue girls who are about to be married off and take legal action against those involved. Through these initiatives, we aim to create a safer world for girls where they can grow, thrive and live a fulfilling life.
Taking Care of Disabled Women
Our non-governmental organization takes care of mentally disabled and Divyang (physically challenged) women of unprivileged and deprived sections. We at Karpuri Thakur Gramin Vikash Sansthan provides a safe and nurturing environment for these women, ensuring that they receive the necessary care and support including food, clothing, accommodation and other necessities to lead fulfilling lives. We also offer skill development programs, including training on handmade products, to encourage these women to generate an income source for themselves. We believe that these efforts will not only help them become financially independent but also will boost their self-confidence and enhance their sense of self-worth.
Taking Care of Old age
Karpuri Thakur Gramin Vikash Sansthan is working to improve the lives of underprivileged senior people. We understand that people in old age need more care and concern from their families or close ones. But unfortunately many elderly persons become abandoned and destitute by their families for being old aged and unable to generate resources to live a fulfilling life. Addressing this issue, we are working to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the elderly, offering them free accommodation, food, companionship, medical care, and other essential services. We hope that with the blessings of these people in need, we can achieve our dream and get recognition in the near future as a leading non governmental organization of Bihar as well as India.
Awareness Against Drug Addiction
Karpuri Thakur Gramin Vikash Sansthan is working tirelessly to raise awareness about the dangers of drug addiction. Drug addiction is a serious global problem that affects individuals, families, and communities. So, we are committed to educating the public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the risks associated with it. We also provide support and rehabilitation services for individuals struggling with addiction to join the mainstream of society and regain the happiness of living a fulfilling life. We are dedicated to creating a world where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to overcome addiction and lead healthy, dignified lives.
Skill Development
We recognize the importance of skill development in empowering individuals to become self-sufficient and earn a livelihood on their own. Karpuri Thakur Gramin Vikash Sansthan provides training and skill development programs to individuals from marginalized communities including the mentally and physically challenged women whom we serve, helping them acquire new skills and knowledge that can lead to better employment opportunities. In our organization we are providing training on making leaf-plate, tailoring, boutique works, and flower making which are leading to generating their own income and enhancing their self confidence and self sufficiency.
MI Cured (Half Way Home)
